Description
Optimized Solutions for DIP/THT Handling
In the fast-paced electronics manufacturing sector, our handling conveyors for DIP (Dual In-line Package) and THT (Through-Hole Technology) components are purpose-built automated logistics systems tailored for insertion, soldering, and downstream manufacturing stages. These conveyors ensure seamless operational efficiency, even during the most intricate processes.
Designed for High-Temperature Environments
Unlike standard SMT (Surface Mount Technology) belt conveyors, our DIP/THT conveyors are engineered to withstand elevated temperatures commonly associated with wave soldering operations. This ensures reliable performance and minimal downtimes, even in challenging manufacturing settings.
Versatile and Durable for PCB Assemblies
These conveyors are specially designed to handle PCB assemblies, often mounted on fixtures or pallets, providing robust support and precise alignment during the manufacturing process. Their durability and versatility make them an essential tool for optimizing DIP and THT workflows.
Key Points for Model Selection
Width Adjustment Method: When manufacturing multiple product types, manual lead-screw adjustment (hand crank) or fully automatic motorized adjustment is essential; the standard adjustable width range is typically 50–350 mm or wider.
ESD Safety: ESD grounding is mandatory, and rails and conveyor belts must be made of anti-static materials to prevent electrical discharge damage to sensitive electronic components.
Load-Bearing Capacity: As fully assembled boards—especially those using heavy composite “wave pallets” for wave soldering—can be quite heavy, the system requires reinforced aluminum rails and high-torque drive motors.
Speed Control: The system must be equipped with a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or electronic speed controller, allowing for flexible speed adjustment, typically within the range of 0.2 to 5 meters per minute.
